Passenger Information System (PIS) is an information service system based on multimedia network technology, multimedia transmission and display technology to display specific information to passengers at the specified time through the station and vehicle-mounted display terminal. It’s an important carrier to ease passenger flow and an important channel to provide better services for passengers using the production information.
PIS can be divided into five subsystems structurly: the central subsystem, network subsystem, station subsystem, vehicle-mounted subsystem.
The central subsystem can manage the whole traffic PIS system, which is the nerve center of the whole system. Through the central subsystem, all kinds of media data collation, customization, publishing can be achieved to monitor system running status, and complete system database storage, backup and maintenance operations.
The network subsystem uses the network equipment of the system itself to provide the network channel to the PIS through the transmission system. The channel transmits various data signals, video signals and control signals from the center to the stations and trains.
The information received by the station subsystem receiving center is displayed in real time on each display terminal.
The vehicle-mounted subsystem can display vehicle-mounted CCTV, vehicle-mounted video and operating information.
Since its inception, BII-ERG has established the PIS system project of Beijing Metro Changping Line, PIS System Project of Beijing Metro Line 15, PIS System Project of Beijing Metro Line 10, PIS System Project of Beijing Metro Line 16 and Existing lines PIS system transformation and other projects. Among them, in the Beijing Metro Line 16 project, it successfully solved the problem of train-ground wireless transmission to achieve continuous video images, stable upload and download functions and access to the user's praise.
Our company has a full range of independent products and equipment of PIS system and has obtained software copyrights of traffic center system, MPIS system, ground and vehicle-mounted system control software. Our video playback control equipment and video remote control equipment and other core products are all independently developed and certified by SARFT.
Our company cooperates with the owners of units to participate in the Beijing subway traffic PIS technical standards preparation work. To regulate the preparation unit, we completed the following norms.
