Citybus and New World First Bus AFC system

Citybus and New World First Bus AFC system

The second generation bus automatic toll collection system includes production and installation of 1900 car terminal equipment, bus station software system, bus factory wireless data acquisition system, background database system design and development and operational support. The design concept is based on the latest hardware and software technology to update the device and strengthen the existing system functions. The system consists of a four-layer structure: the first layer is the SPCC; the second layer is DP, TDS; the third floor is BDC; the fourth floor is vehicle charging machine.

SPCC and DP

The existing SPCC software is replaced by a high-performance new software design, which is verified and settled by the database itself. The newly designed intermediate software DP provides a web interface input data and system status monitoring to monitor the state of level, including 3800 charges machine profile, program, media software and version information. Secondly, the desktop portal provides detailed data entry on the fare calculation, discounts and related hours, and includes the display and other settings for the input charging machine. Manipulative tests and operations archives send file version control that allows subdivision and testing for operating environment. Finally, the desktop portal sets up audit trail and user rights groups to make access control and monitor any system changes.

TDS and Central Clearing Interface

The existing TDS is replaced by a new enterprise-class information bus with built-in fault redundancy and two computer-supported workloads. The TDS and CCH interface filter the transaction data and transfer it to the clearing center. Settlement data are fed back to the SPCC for processing and settlement. TDS and BDC interface send fares and setting data and access to all transaction information, audit information and system logs and then send them to the SPCC.

BDC

The new BDC replaces the existing database with a modern SQL database and provides a web interface and reporting system that allows customers to access and monitor unattended trucks at any time. The BDC provides a complete report on the downloading to the toll machine and provides a profile and software version report with its own total and reporting system that can be used as a verification data at all levels. In case of offline situation, a set of station computer system can store operating data of 500 bus for 31 days.

Vehicle-mounted terminal - DDU and BCP

DDU and BCP are based on the advanced 400MIPS level processor, a large number of memory and high-resolution color display with large areas of automatic brightness adjustment. In addition to the adoption of faster 802.11n WiFi standard, the machine has built-in antenna and BDC automatic upload and download system.

DDU sets a vehicle lock device, which only allows authorized personnel to log in before the start of the vehicle. The keyboard is equipped with backlight for the driver and the BCP has four programmable function keys for passengers to use, and voice prompts for the blind people. DDU and real-time newspaper system interface provide location-linked download automation routes and stage updates, which can both reduce the driver's work intensity and reduce the possibility of fare errors due to operation error.

The second generation of bus AFC system can provide more effective data for the bus operation and improve the accuracy of statistics and analysis, simplify the maintenance and management of terminal equipment, improve the settlement efficiency of the clearing center, simplify the customer revenue processing, so as to improve the overall operation efficiency and profit of clients.
