PIS operation and maintenance service of Beijing MTR Subway Line 14 and 16

Beijing MTR Subway Line 14 features full length of 47.7km with 37 stations, 26 stations of which have opened to traffic. Line 16 features full length of 49.85km with 29 stations, 9 stations of which have opened to traffic. 

BII-ERG under BII Technology Holdings has been responsible for the PIS operation and maintenance of MTR Metro Line 14 and 16 in Beijing since 2017. The scope of operation and maintenance includes a business control center, all the hardware and software contained in the station sub-system and the low-voltage power supply equipment of center and the station room.

The operation and maintenance team consists of project manager, first-line on-site engineer and second-line support team, of which, project manager is responsible for the overall management and external coordination of the project, first-line on-site engineer is responsible for daily maintenance work 24/7 and second-line support team is responsible for major technical problems and deputy of team leaders.

The maintenance and operation of PIS project guarantees the stable, efficient and safe operation of PIS system of Line 14 and 16, provides passengers with real-time, accurate and diverse information and improves the ability of the line to deal with emergency failures, thus improving the quality of subway service and service levels.
