A New Model, a New Start, a New Journey BII Technology Company ...

On April 13, BII Technology Company convened the Signing Conference for the Statement of Responsibilities for the 2018 Annual Operation & Management Performance Assessment. A tripartite statement of responsibilities was signed by the Company’s CEO Xuan Jing, the Vice Presidents / assistant presidents, and the department heads, signifying the formal launching of the Company’s operation responsibility system reform.
The operation responsibility system reform was decided based on the adequate studies and estimations on the social and economic development trends (through surveys, visits, meetings, discussions, etc.) since the Company’s name change last year, as well as the Company’s current operation situation. Formulation of the reform plan, which accords with both the market characteristics and the Company’s operational demands, involved active solicitation of opinions from all parties, full-process participation of professional consultation companies, multiple special meetings for discussion, and document revisions by designated persons.
According to the plan, the Company will focus its resource allocations, remuneration incentives and job promotions on frontline business departments. Regarding organizational structure adjustments, the divisional management model will be replaced by flat management, with the businesses being distributed among several independent units which conduct independent accounting and assume responsibilities for their own profits and losses. The original R&D Center will be divided into the R&D Department I and the R&D Department II, which will work with the business departments in business promotion and develop into profit centers. As required by the business growth, a new pipe gallery business department will be set up to further explore the existing market resources. Under a more market-based remuneration incentive mechanism, which features a linkage between personal performance and team performance and assignment of operation targets at all levels to specific persons, a scientific and reasonable performance award model will be established. Talent cultivation will focus on outstanding members of business departments. Frontline business staff members with excellent ethical qualities and professional proficiencies will be prioritized for various management positions, so that the real talents can stand out.
As a major action of the Company in following the market orientation and implementing innovative management, the operation responsibility system reform will further stimulate the organizational vitality to a new business-focused innovative management model, thus playing a significant role in sustaining continuous profit growth, improving the labor productivity, expanding the client base and widening the business scope.
Based on this, the Company will continue to increase its efforts in innovation and reforms, strengthen scientific and standard management, accelerate the formation of joint forces in systems and work, strive to enhance the business operation capability, sufficiently explore market resources, and optimize the evaluation and supervision mechanism, so as to safeguard a high-speed, high-quality, all-around growth of the Company.
