On October 12, 2018, the 18th China International Urban Construction Exposition held a theme forum on urban underground utility tunnel. 15 experts in the industry discussed the application and operation of the intelligent utility tunnel system by combining with the market environment of the industry development, the current situation, difficulties and pain points of the utility tunnel, and casted a outlook for the development trend of the system and innovative management mode.

Mr. Liu Zhongliang, Vice President of BIITT, delivered a keynote speech on behalf of BII Utility Tunnel (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as BIIU) and BIITT, with the theme “Building Intelligent Utility Tunnel, Boosting the Construction of Smart Beijing”. He shared the jointly developed Intelligent Operation and Maintenance Platform of Utility Tunnel and related innovations, and its significant role in the construction of smart city. The Intelligent Operation and Maintenance Platform of Utility Tunnel is based on Internet open source architecture, which integrates GIS, BIM, big data and cloud computing technologies. It can realize functions such as integrated monitoring, emergency command, asset management, daily management, intelligent operations and maintenance, analysis and decision-making. The platform is also a new generation of integrated monitoring platform and intelligent operation and maintenance platform of BIITT.

In addition, during the exchange and interaction activities at this exhibition, Mr. Peng Huaijun, Technical Director of BII Transportation Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of BIITT, also shared with experts an innovative product of utility tunnel-Converged Communication. The product can realize the in-depth integration of voice communication, video communication, broadcast communication, personnel positioning and business application, effectively reduce the construction cost, improve the operation and maintenance efficiency, and further improve the economic efficiency, system agglomeration and functional expansibility of the construction of utility tunnel. A number of enterprises engaging in utility tunnel expressed their purchase intentions at the site, and we expanded the depth and breadth of exchanges and cooperation with peers in the industry.
